Caption Writing Practice

  1. First sentence includes  major information about the photo (who, what, where, when, why, how). You may make up the information for this assignment
  2. First sentence should be written in present tense as if the action of the photo is still happening.
  3. Second sentence should be past tense, and should include background information.
  4. Information in caption should not be obvious by looking at the photo.
  5. If there are three or fewer recognizable people in the photo.
Courtney Jackson is at the Akins High School and is very excited to be their. Akins had won the game and took the winning trophy.

Brandon Watsin aims at the basket carefully, he needs this shot to win the game. He made the shot in the last few seconds and won the game.

Mergers because there is another student behind him and you can only see his arm whit looks like another part of the main subject.

Gabe Maldonado is consintraiting on his art piece so he can get an award for it. He got the first place award the judges really liked his work.

Rule of thirds because the main subject is placed in the right corner

While she teached class about owls Mrs.Sanches decided to bring a real life owl. The students learned better with the real life owl in the class.

Simplicity because the owl is very close up and nuthing distracts you from it.
Mergers because the man in the back looks wrong behind the owl like that.
